Abstract: |
CBAS Ltd was commissioned to prepare a Design and Access Statement to accompany Planning and Listed Buildings application the reinstatement of a blocked doorway. This is located in the western wall of the entrance hall leading into the former butcher's shop which occupies the western side of the ground floor of the building. The opening up of the blocked doorway will be a positive alteration to this Heritage Asset. With the re-opening of this access point the shop would become an integral part of the house as it was originally intended, and restore the original circulation pattern of the ground floor of the property. |
