Abstract:		 Phase 1 of the construction of an offshore wind farm situated midway between the Kent and Essex coastlines and more than 20km from each shore. Phase 1 comprises 175 turbines, 2 offshore substations, and 4 export cables to the shore. This particular part of the project is the archaeological assessment of the intertidal marine geophysical survey data undertaken by the London Array Retained Archaeologist's for the Engineering and Consent geophysical surveys. The survey area falls under the jurisdiction of both Kent County Council and Canterbury District Council.
