Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East was commissioned by David Wilson Homes Southern and Barratt Southern Counties to undertake an archaeological evaluation at North East Sector, Horley Surrey. Six trial trenches were excavated between18th and 20th September 2012. A series of medieval pits and ditches were identified in 5 of the six trenches and other finds included a quantity of slag, suggesting iron-working was being undertaken in the near vicinity. |
