Abstract:		 Watching brief on a single house plot revealed a sequence of natural, post-medieval and modern deposits. A single pit containing probable residual Roman pottery sherds was sealed by an undated subsoil deposit that was in-turn truncated by two undated pits and a ditch situated within the southern portion of the site.
