Abstract:		 In September 2017 the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust (CPAT) carried out a watching brief during the excavation of footings and cable trenching for a new back-up generator at the Wrekin Telecoms Mast, Shropshire. Groundworks revealed modern gravel road surfacing overlying redeposited material. No archaeological features were revealed and no artefacts were recovered.
