Fifteen trenches were opened, positioned to test geophysical anomalies, blank areas and areas of development impact. Four of the fifteen trenches revealed features, three ditches and three gullies all most probably part of a post-medieval field system which had been removed to create the current single large field in the 20th century. there were no finds. |
