Abstract:		 In June 2011 an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out at 58A Chipperfield Road, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, prior to the construction of three houses. Two archaeologically supervised trenches were excavated within the footprint of the building. A further area of 30.6 sq m was stripped by the contractors prior to the evaluation. All areas were cleaned to determine the presence of archaeological remains. No archaeological finds or features were observed in any of the excavated areas.
