Abstract: |
Between November 2012 and April 2013 a watching brief was carried out on land at Emerson Farmhouse, 27 Little Stocking, Shenley Brook End, Milton Keynes during groundwork associated with the residential development of the site. The work revealed that the area around Emerson Farmhouse had previously been subject to considerable lateral and intrusive truncation. The only surviving features were two pits of probable post-medieval date, one of which contained the sawn skeleton of a horse. |
