Abstract: |
In July 2017 an Archaeological Evaluation was undertaken at 55 Brackley Road, Towcester, Northamptonshire prior to planning permission of the conversion of the existing building into a number of housing units, the construction of other housing units to the rear and the construction of car ports and garages. The development area is located within the conservation area in the town. Several features were observed within the three evaluation trenched excavated on the site including a possible medieval boundary ditch and several post medieval stone walls. |
