Abstract:		 The evaluation fieldwork comprised the excavation of 4 trenches in the location shown on the attached plans (see Fig. 2 and 3). • 1no 1m x 1m trench • 1no 15m x 1.8m trench; and • 2no 20m x 1.8m trenches. In December 2021, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of land at Cotswold Community, Ashton Keynes, Wiltshire. A total of 4 trenches were excavated. The evaluation identified a series of undated ditches and pits, along with one archaeological feature, of indeterminate function dating to the Roman period.
