Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching revealed a number of post-medieval ditches and one undated gully, and a small pit containing charcoal and a tiny amount of burnt bone. A Bronze Age site had previously been excavated close by and it is conceivable this deposit could be related to that, possibly a deposit of pyre debris, but it is not unambiguously of any archaeological relevance at all, and is in any case undated. |
