Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation, comprising a single 8.60m x 1.60m trial trench was carried out on behalf of Jacques Van Der Merwe. Post-medieval or later postholes and an undated pit were found in the trench. A further feature was likely to have been a tree bole. No evidence for medieval activity was found in the trench.
