Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken at the Sacred Heart Convent, Rearsby. Prehistoric artefacts have been found in the general area and the site is a short distance from the medieval parish church. The convent building was built as a residence in the 19th century and became a convent in the mid-20th century. Archaeological remains were limited to early modern garden features; a redeposited prehistoric flint was recovered. |
