Abstract:		 Observations were made during an archaeological watching brief on the construction of a double garage and workshop at Shenfield Hall, Hall Lane, Shenfield, Essex. This work was carried out in accordance with the Brief and WSI. Observations were made during an archaeological watching brief on the construction of a double garage and workshop at Shenfield Hall, Hall Lane, Shenfield, Essex. All the trenches cut only modern material and nothing of archaeological significance was observed.
