Abstract:		 Detailed magnetometry was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd over 0.6ha at Swillbrook Farm, Minety. The results indicate the presence of widespread magnetic debris associated with modern dumping and burning. Weaker anomalies cannot be clearly defined as relating to cut features and are likely to also be associated with the ground disturbance/make-up. The survey area contained an orchard in the 19th and early 20th centuries and tree removal is also likely to have caused disturbance.
