Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation formed part of a staged approach to understanding the archaeological implications of the proposed development, following the advice of the archaeological advisor to the Local Planning Authority. The archaeological evaluation comprised the excavation of 23 trial trenches, each 30m X 2m . The evaluation was carried out in accordance with a Written Scheme of Investigation from 11th April to 6th May 2022 The evaluation demonstrated that there is very low archaeological potential within the Site, since only undated former boundary or drainage ditches were uncovered. |
