Abstract:		 A geophysical survey was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd within a small area of pasture on the eastern edge of Whiteparish in Wiltshire. Detailed magnetometry was undertaken using a hand-pushed, cart-based system of 5 sensors spaced 0.5m apart collecting data at 20Hz. The results indicate the presence of a small number of discrete, pit-like anomalies, but it is not possible to determine if they are natural or anthropogenic features with archaeological potential. A linear, ditch-like anomaly may also relate to a former field boundary and evidence for possible ridge and furrow has also been encountered.
