Abstract:		 Detailed magnetometry was carried out over 1.6ha of sports pitches at Yatton RFC using a hand-pushed cart-based system of 5 magnetometers spaced 0.5m apart collecting data at 20Hz. The results indicate the presence of a series of land drains within the site, widespread discrete, dipolar responses to ferrous objects within the topsoil and magnetic disturbance from ferrous material within and surrounding the site.
