Abstract: |
Detailed magnetometry was carried out ahead of proposed extension to the business park using a hand-pushed, cart-based system of 5 magnetometers spaced 0.5m apart, collecting data at 20Hz (c0.15m). The results indicate the presence of magnetically enhanced responses within the location of former agricultural buildings to the west of Duddage Manor, and it is possible that they are associated. Widespread magnetic debris covers several zones within the site and may have obscured weaker features. Other anomalies are also weak and poorly defined and their origin is uncertain. |
