Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	John Moore Heritage Services carried out an evaluation at Little Martins Field, east of Waterman's Lane north east of Didcot Road, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Oxfordshire (NGR SU5784191130 centred). Part of a Mid Iron Age settlement was found in the south part of the site that seems to include a least one timber house site. Roman pottery suggests a settlement of that date off-site in the vicinity. Saxon activity was recorded although it appears to have been sparse on the proposal site. Late medieval activity was found just west of Beauchamp Grange indicating there was a late medieval farmstead or similar under this property that originally extended westwards onto the evaluation site.
