Photogrammetry and rectified photography reprints of articles

Two articles explaining camera-based techniques of recording standing architecture are reprinted from Architects' Journal. The production of scaled or rectified photographs is a less accurate technique than photogrammetry but can be very useful. A third article discusses some applications of photogrammetric techniques to archaeology, eg for air photographs, site records, and finds records. See also 82/8767.
Recent research in archaeological footwear
Five papers on footwear fashions, conservation, etc. Olaf Goubitz (pp 1-28) writes on 'Calceology: a new hobby - the drawing and recording of archaeological footwear', illustrating material from Dordrecht. A D Hooley (29-31) adds some modifications in 'Practicalities and pitfalls in the application of a standardised system of conventions to the drawing of Romano-British footwear'. C van Driel-Murray (32-42) writes on 'Roman footwear: a mirror of fashion and society', while James A Spriggs contributes (43-6) 'Aspects of leather conservation at York' and June Swann (47-9) offers 'Towards a standard shoe glossary'.
