Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. Rim type - Triangular
The rim has two straight, angled sides, resembling two partial sides of a triangle.
Shoulder type - Carinated
The shoulder displays distinct carination - a ridge where the shoulder meets the body of the amphora.
Handles in profile - Bowed
The handles form a broad, curving sweep away from the body and neck of the amphora. They are generally longer than the 'curved' handles.
Handles in section - Round
The handle is circular, or nearly circular, in section.
Neck type - Cylindrical
The neck is cylinder-shaped.
Body type - Globular
The body is wide, round and bag-shaped or globular.
Base type - Ringed
The base has a foot ring
