Introduction

102 Wood Lane End, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Archaeological Strip, Map and Sample (OASIS ID: kdkarcha1-250887)

In October 2016 KDK Archaeology Ltd undertook a Strip, Map and Sample Excavation at 102 Wood Lane End, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire as a condition of planning permission for the development of the site. Although the development area lies immediately adjacent to a Scheduled Romano-British temple complex (Scheduled Monument Ref. 1015490) no archaeological features of significance were observed during this exercise.
