This bibliography is derived from the BAR volume 610 (International Series) entitled Spanish Medieval Ceramics in Spain and the British Isles edited by Christopher Gerrard, Alejandra Gutiérrez and Alan Vince and published in 1995. Part of the original work of this volume was funded by the British Academy in 1987.

The bibliography provides a wide selection of works on three main themes: historical and social background, important recent work in Spain on pottery, and Iberian pottery found in the British Isles, including material in museum collections, scientific analyses and information on tiles. Although not intended to be comprehensive, this dataset will be a useful source for medieval and post-medieval archaeologists in Europe and the Americas as well as for those with a wider interest in Spanish culture.
