41 Ashcroft Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Watching Brief. (OASIS ID: urbanarc1-283507)

Following an archaeological evaluation in August 2017, Urban Archaeology undertook an archaeological watching brief during groundworks associated with the construction of a kitchen extension at 41 Ashcroft Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire in August 2017. An area of approximately 40m² was excavated to a formation level of 109.70m OD, with a perimeter footing excavated to 109.55m OD m OD, and a 1m² drainage chamber pit dug to 109.45m OD.

No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed during the groundworks which did not reach the archaeological deposits identified in the evaluation.
