Abstract: |
An Archaeological Evaluation was conducted in 2007 at Sadberge School by Archaeological Research Services Limited and commissioned in advance of the proposed of a residential development. While the evidence suggested potential activity from the Iron Age. A number of trial trenches were excavated. However, the investigation revealed that the building and demolition of Sadberge School had truncated the natural clay level throughout the majority of the site and any archaeological remains which may have existed had been removed during this process. |
