Abstract:		 An Archaeological Watching Brief was carried out at Baysdale Abbey, Westerdale, North Yorkshire, in October 2008 during the conversion of a barn and outbuildings into holiday accommodation. Archaeological deposits, including a stone wall were recorded in the area to the east of Baysdale Abbey farm house.
