Abstract:		 As the result of an archaeological condition on the planning permission for the demolition and conversion of farm buildings at Lodge Farm, Sandon, Herts, the Heritage Network was commissioned by the owners to provide a record of the buildings, and an overview of their development, prior to the start of the conversion works. The timber-framed threshing barn forms the earliest structure on the site, dating from the early to mid 19th century. The other buildings are mid-19th century in origin.
