Abstract: |
This level 3 survey of the Ship Inn on Piel Island revealed that there have been several phases of construction that have resulted in the building as it is today. The building was thought to be 300 years old but the study revealed that the first direct reference to the Inn is from 1800. The study concluded that the earliest phase is probably late 17th century. |
