Abstract:		 The barn at Cobden Farm probably dates to the 18th century but has been heightened, had its roof replaced, and also been extended by the addition of a lean-to shippon in the second half of the 19th century. Historic building recording was carried out as a condition of planning consent for the barn's conversion to residential use, and this record includes measured drawings, photographs, and a written description supplemented by the results of historical research.
