Abstract: |
A standing building recording survey was carried out to record five agricultural buildings prior to their proposed conversion into modern dwellings. Old Belses Farm occupies an informal layout plan which deviates from a more formal arrangement shown on the First Edition Ordnance Survey Map of 1860. The survey has shown that the oldest building on the site (Building 4) was a watermill which was later converted into a grain silo. |
