Abstract:		 In December 2009, NAU Archaeology undertook an archaeological evaluation for Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, ahead of construction of an extension to the college's central building. No archaeological features were identified within the trench. The earliest layer identified was a layer of compacted, olive brown clay overlying the undisturbed natural and containing medieval pottery.
