Abstract:		 This is an Archaeological Statement has been prepared to inform a planning application for a residential refurbishment development at Laburnum House, 8-10 Vicarage Crescent, Battersea, Wandsworth. This baseline assessment considers the archaeological potential within the site itself, the surrounding area and wider local and regional context. This assessment does not attempt to plot and review every archaeological find and monument; rather it aims to examine the distribution of evidence and to use this to predict the archaeological potential of the study area and the likely significance of the development proposals on those remains.
