Abstract: |
A level 3 standing building recording was undertaken by MOLA on Block C of the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in advance of refurbishment. Though Block C was built in the early 1970s it formed a working part of the Truman Brewery which includes numerous 18th and 19th Century listed buildings. Block C was constructed to produce lager in response to growing popular demand. The brewery closed in 1989 and block C was converted to be used as exhibition and studio space. |
