Abstract: |
A watching brief was required as part of the planning permission issued to the Client by Hampshire County Council (Planning Reference SDNP/52321/001), the local authority, for alterations to existing farm buildings, comprising a new east wall and floor for the Main Barn and a new floor for the Stable Block. The structures which form the watching brief area consisted of an early 17th century threshing barn and an early 19th century stables and cow byre (Grade II LB 1096923) which form three sides of a courtyard. |
