Abstract: |
An historic building survey (level 2) was undertaken by the University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) at Limes Farm, Main Street, Kilby, Leicestershire on the 8th of December 2015. The survey studied a number of historic farm buildings associated with the Grade II listed farmhouse. The farmhouse dates from the late 18th century and it is likely that some of the buildings, especially a stone-built barn, are from a similar period. Modifications and adaptations have taken place up to the present day in all of the buildings. The report and archive will be deposited under X.A136.2015 |
