Abstract:		 A single trench was excavated on land adjacent to Hillside Cottage, Yarmouth Road, Ufford in relation to a planning application for the development of an empty plot and the construction of a new dwelling. No archaeological finds or features were recorded in the area examined, sited to investigate the potential for historic roadside remains where the development was most likely to cause significant damage should there prove to be relevant deposits on site. No further work is recommended as being necessary.
