Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site close to a possible villa/farmstead identified from aerial photographs. Roman date enclosure ditches, gullies, rubbish pits and post holes were identified. Possible Late Iron Age structures were also identified. Human remains were also recovered but were not from a grave. [Au(abr)]
