Abstract: |
Listed building consent and planning permission has been granted for the conversion of a Grade II listed building, Grove Farm, Knowle into three dwellings as part of a scheme of redevelopment which also includes conversion of the associated outbuildings into seperate residences. The site lies in open farmland on the outskirts on Knowle just to the south of the M42. Grove Farm is a 17th Century building and the outbuildings associated with the site include a barn, stable, coach house and dairy. Conditions attached to the planning permission and listed building consent state the requirements for a progamme of historic building recording consisting of checked and annotated plans and elevations, complemented by a written description and set of comprehensive photographs. All below ground works, including the remioval of interiro and exterior surfaces, landscaping and service trenches will be archaeologically monitored to mitigate the impact of development. |
