Abstract: |
A standing building survey was undertaken prior to the demolition of a small steading. Netherfield was built between 1867 and 1899 near the edge of the town of Inverurie. The steading had been L-plan, one range already having been converted. The N wing was stone-walled and had a slate roof with dressed granite skews and ball finials at the gables. Few internal details survived but it appeared to have housed a cart bay and stalls for three horses. |
