Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in relation to an application for the erection of an Artist's Colony at Glenside Farm. A total of 14 trenches and two geological test-pits were opened across the site over a period of three days. All of the trenches showed evidence of past agricultural activity, including both Rig and Furrow and plough scars, as well as efforts to improve field drainage. No archaeological finds or further features were uncovered |
