Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out during the excavation of two crossover areas within the central reservation of the A46 in Leicestershire. No in situ archaeological remains are artefacts were recovered but the possible remains of a surface, possibly that of the Fosse Way were revealed.
