Abstract:		 CFA Archaeology Ltd carried out a archaeological evaluation on land south of The Butts Business Centres, Fowlmere, Cambridgeshire. Various excavations and evaluations within the parish have revealed evidence of Iron Age, Roman, Saxon, Norman and medieval settlement over the years.The site itself was known to contain the foundations of WWII buildings. The evaluation identified three structures and a ditch which appear to relate to the 1944 RAF plan. In the western half of the site a large geological feature was exposed. No other archaeological features were revealed.
