Abstract: |
Historic building recording was carried out at Trafalgar Works, Trafalgar Street, Sheffield. The works was a late 19th century industrial works, part of the larger Trafalgar grinding Wheel complex. The works was a medium sized integrated works for the production of edge tools, and later cutlery and blades. The recording entailed the detailed recording of the standing buildings using an EDM and hand tape measurements to produce floor plans and sections. Record photography was also undertaken using both 35mm and medium format black and white film as well as a selection of colour slide. |
