Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over 1.5 hectares of grass pasture at Melton Mowbray. The only probable archaeology on the site consists of ridge and furrow features. Three anomalies could represent possible cut features of archaeological origin but could also be of natural or agricultural origin. The remaining anomalies are all of modern origin related to nearby or buried ferrous objects and scattered magnetic debris. |
