Abstract: |
Monitoring of foundation trenches for an extension and a linked cart lodge/garage revealed chalky till (boulder clay) overlaid by up to 0.30m of garden soil and turf. Several intrusive features of relatively recent date were seen, mainly service trenches and a land drain. No archaeological deposits or features were seen and no finds were recovered. |
