Abstract: |
Monitoring of footings for an extension to the rear of The Ram public house. Footings measured 0.6m wide by 1m deep and were filled by made up ground, heavily disturbed by modern services in places, to their full depth. Undisturbed natural sandy gravel subsoil was visible in the trench bases. No pre-modern finds were recovered during the monitoring, nor were any archaeological features observed. |
