Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during groundbreaking works for the foundations of a new residential house extension in Inveresk Village, East Lothian. The trenches were excavated within an 8m by 6.5m area in close proximity to several archaeologically significant sites. Trenches were excavated to a depth of 0.6 to 0.8m under constant archaeological supervision. No significant remains or deposits were encountered throughout the watching brief. |
