Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 10 hectares of grassland and arable land. The survey has identified a probable Iron Age or Romano-British field system with associated enclosures and a round have been identified. A number of medieval or post-medieval field boundaries have also been identified. Possible archaeological anomalies can be seen across the site; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of natural or modern origin, relating to agricultural activity and fencing. |
