Abstract: |
Between 2010 and 2012, a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeological Services during groundworks on a redevelopment site at Home House on Main Street in North Leverton, Nottinghamshire. A single medieval pit of early to mid 14th-century date was identified within House Plot 6 on the western side of the site. No other archaeological deposits or features were identified. The archaeological monitoring and recording suggests that the remainder of the redevelopment site occupied the periphery of any medieval settlement associated with Main Street. |
